Microsoft moving to open / shared source?#

Always looking to squeeze more productivity our of every day, I love it when new tools are released that make my / other people at WDGs life easier. So was wrapped to here about the TFS Admin (and other) tools on Joe Morels blog:

But whats even kewler is the fact that these tools are Shared Source!!! I HOPE this is a hint of things to come - LOVE IT :)

Codeplex - the new GotDotNet / SourceForge???#

Read earlier today on Jamie Cansdales blog about Microsofts new open source hosting solution called CodePlex. I heard earlier this year that a whole bunch of MVPs may be working on something like this, and taking a quick look around, it looks FANTASTIC ... AND runs on TFS :) Very sweet indeed!!!
